GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is queueing traffic in Hagley on A456 Worcester Road and Kidderminster Road around Summervale Road/Western Road.

Heavy traffic is also affecting journeys in Sedgley on A459 Dudley Road Northbound before Tipton Street and in Holy Hall on A461 Stourbridge Road before Kingswinford Road (Scotts Green Island).

The usual congestion at the Burnt Tree traffic lights in Dudley and Birchley Island in Oldbury is also causing delays.

People heading into Birmingham should know that the A456 Hagley Road is closed westbound due to an incident between B4124 Monument Road (Ivy Bush Traffic Lights) and Wyndham Road.

There are areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, they include:

Speed restriction of 30 mph and one lane closed due to major roadworks and contraflow on M5 both ways between J1 (West Bromwich / Birmingham) and J2 (Oldbury). Work on the Oldbury Viaduct means that all traffic is sharing one side of the road as a contraflow.

There are also speed restriction of 20 mph in Pensnett due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A4101 High Street at High Oak.

In Kidderminster, electricity work and temporary traffic lights will be in place on Habberley Lane at Habberley Road until December 8, while gas main work and temporary traffic lights are in place on A448 Comberton Road at Yew Tree Road.

Telecoms work and temporary traffic lights could cause delays on Wildmoor Lane at Mayfield Close in Catshill as well as in Hartlebury on B4193 Hartlebury Road at Wilden Top Road, while water main work and temporary traffic lights are causing delays in Barnt Green on Blackwell Road at Hewell Road.

In Oldbury, electricity work and temporary traffic lights are on Tat Bank Road at Parsonage Street, as well as on A4034 Bromford Road at Credenda Road, near Sandwell and Dudley train station.
