INVESTIGATING officers are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a serious head injury in a two car collision near Redditch.

The collision took place on the A422 Inkberrow to Flyford Flavell Road at around 3.50pm yesterday (Sunday, September 3).

A blue Hyundai was travelling away from Worcester and a white Ford Ranger pick-up was travelling in the opposite direction, when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Hyundai - a man in his 50s - suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital.

No one else was injured in the collision.

Police enquiries are currently on-going, but officers would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision.
