A TALENTED Studley teenager has raised more than £350 with the release of her charity Christmas CD.

Brease Woolley, aged 15, started performing on stage from the age of three and now attends stage school in London.

Her album includes Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Ava Maria, White Christmas, Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, Hallelujah, Santa Clause Is Coming To Town, Somewhere Only We Know, Santa Baby and Silent Night.

The CD costs £3 with all profits going to Children In Need.

Each year Brease’s grandad Dave Hewitt, aged 67, pays for her to record eight tracks from musicals at Gospel Oak Studios in Rowington, Lapworth.

In late October, Brease decided to record a Christmas themed album instead and her grandad paid for the studio time and mother, Elizabeth, provided for the CDs, covers and labels.

Her mum Elizabeth said: "Brease spends her week in London and commutes back on a Friday evening and returns back to London on a Sunday evening, so we took Brease to the recording studio one Saturday in November and she was there from 10am till 6.30pm putting this Christmas CD together."

"She works really hard – I am really proud," she added.

The CDs will be on sale until Saturday, December 31 2016.

Brease performed as an urchin from Oliver with Studley Amateur Operatics when she was eight.

She was selected for the professional West End production in Birmingham at the age of 10 working alongside Samantha Barks, and Brian Connolly.
