IT'S probably fair to say The Eagles are one of the most iconic, famous bands ever in terms of talent, productivity, longevity and familiarity - so to reproduce their sound, and that of the individual members is no mean feat.

The West Coast Eagles, who play nationwide, but do a lot of gigs in their native West Midlands, not only do this but go close to matching The Eagles at times, such is the quality of their playing and vocals.

They covered all the classics from Heartache Tonight, Lyin' Eyes and Peaceful Easy Feeling to Desperado and Take it Easy, skillfully switching vocalists to match whoever did lead vocals on each song.

All the members also played an instrument whilst singing, Gary T on lead vocals skillfully managing to replicate the voice of the great Don Henley and the drummer doing a great impression of the sadly missed Glen Frey.

What was also good is that they didn't forget Joe Walsh and also played some of the numerous solo hits by Frey and Henley and the haunting 'Love will Keep Us Alive', written by Paul Carrack.

With tickets to see the Eagles' last tour costing around £70 to £80 a throw, this is a good way of getting as close to the authentic sound but at a cheaper price as you will find Support was from Stourbridge country band God's Country.
