POPULAR Redditch choir Arrow Vale Singers (AVS) mark their 40th anniversary this year and are launching their ruby celebrations.
The first will be their spring concert on Saturday, April 16.
Music lovers are urged to come and enjoy an evening of fine music at Webheath Village Hall, in Heathfield Road, Webheath.
A choir spokesman said: "With songs from Broadway and Hollywood, including favourites from Cole Porter and Rodgers & Hammerstein, classical treats from Handel and Haydn, and all styles in between, it's sure to be great entertainment.
"Violin and piano solos from our guest performer, esteemed local violinist Austin Poll, and new AVS accompanist Jack Brookes will complete the evening.
"A percentage of profits from our concert, which includes a raffle and refreshments, will be donated to the choir's charity of the year, Marie Curie Cancer Care - West Midlands. Please come and help us support this excellent cause."
The concert will start at 7.30pm, and tickets, priced £8, are available now from the ticket secretary on 01527 893525, or from choir members. For more information see the choir's website arrowvalesingers.co.uk.
