STAFF, as well as few very special guests, from Redditch Library recently took part in the town centre Christmas parade.
The Kingfisher Shopping Centre, working in partnership with Redditch Borough Council and the Town Centre Partnership organised a festive parade and asked for local help to bring the celebrations to life.
Redditch Library's Book Start Bear was there as well as host of other colourful characters from Chinese Dragons to the special man himself Father Christmas.
There was even an appearance from Little Red Riding Hood and several very excited Christmas elves.
The parade took part on Saturday, November 21.
The Christmas market, located on Market Place by St Stephen's Church, also opened the same day, providing everything from hot dogs, chestnuts, hot mulled cider and more.
The market is open every day and will run until Christmas Eve.
