PEOPLE can make sure they are on the electoral register when Redditch Borough Council’s registration roadshow arrives in the town.
As part of Local Democracy Week officers will be staffing a stand at Redditch Town Hall tomorrow Wednesday, October 14.
Being on the electoral register not only means you can have your say by voting, it is used for important credit checks before mobile phone contracts and bank accounts can be set up.
Councillor John Fisher, responsible for Electoral Services said: “Everyone has a stake in our democracy, but in order to vote you need to be on the electoral register.
“I want Redditch people to sign up and make sure their voice is heard in local, national and European elections.”
