A VICTIM was left with significant facial injuries after he was mugged in Redditch.
Three men physically assaulted the man causing him to fall to the floor before stealing his mobile phone along with some cash.
The 54-year-old required hospital treatment after the assualt on Ludlow Road and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
One of the men is described as white, in his 20s, around 5 foot 9, possibly with a shaved head and was wearing a white t-shirt.
The robbery took place on Sunday, July 5 at 5.45am.
Two Redditch men have been charged in connection with the incident, Kieron Scriven, 31, of Sheepcroft Close and Geron Pinfield, 23, of Dolben Lane.
Scriven has been remanded in custody and Pinfield bailed, both until Monday, October 12 where they are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 191S of Sunday, July 5.
