A SUPPORT group serving people suffering from diabetes in Bromsgrove and Redditch is appealing for more members.
The Bromsgrove and Redditch Diabetes UK Group was formed more than thirty years and is run by a small committee.
Various meetings are held throughout the year in Redditch or Bromsgrove depending on the type of event.
It provides help to those people with all types of diabetes, their families, friends and carers together with organising speaker evenings, fund raising activities and social events.
Recently, the group held its AGM on Tuesday, February 24 at the Windmill Community Centre, Redditch.
After the official meeting concluded, group president Dr Ifran Babar talked about local changes for diabetes suffers and informed members about the availability of a new insulin drug which lasts for 24 hours.
