A GROUP of community-spirited volunteers in Alcester are organising an autumn ‘Big Tidy Up’ on Sunday, September 7.
Litter Free Alcester, whose aim is to keep Alcester clean, tidy and litter free, will meet at the Jubilee Centre alongside the Jubilee Fields near St Faiths Road.
Following the Court Leet Fun Day on Saturday, September 6 the helpers will clean streets and open spaces including the area around the Hopkins Precinct.
The litter pick will end noon at the Jubilee Centre.
The group is supported by Alcester Town Council, Stratford on Avon District Council and the Rotary Club of Alcester Alauna.
Alcester in Bloom, Alcester Court Leet and Alcester McDonalds and Litter Free Alcester are providing volunteers for the ‘Big Tidy Up'.
