STAFF at Alcester Grammar School supported Green Travel Day by cycling to work.
Nine workers at the school on Birmingham Road cycled to work from as far as Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Others car shared and walked to work in a bid to do their bit for the local environment.
The school now has now reserved eight car sharing parking slots to further promote the importance of green travel.
Those who took part enjoyed the exercise and felt it raised staff morale.
The next challenge will be on Thursday, September 4 when the whole school is planning to take part.
