STAFF at The Holly Bush pub in Alcester are celebrating after winning the Shakespeare CAMRA branch pub of the year award.
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, send its representatives to pubs around the country and they secretly judge each venue on a number of criteria such as quality of beer, service, atmosphere and amenities.
Owner Tracey Deffley has already won the prestigious award four times and said she was thrilled to have won it a fifth.
"I was told three weeks before it was made public but was sworn to secrecy so couldn't tell anyone. It's an amazing feeling - I have won it before but each year it's getting harder. I let out a little scream when I was told."
The staff were presented with a certificate for their efforts and they all celebrated with a few good beers.
