THE inquest has opened into the death of a woman who was stabbed in her Redditch home.
Kirsty Ann Wright, who was aged 21, was rushed to hospital with serious stab wounds on Saturday, March 15 following an incident at an address in Evesham Road.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Miss Wright died the following morning.
Akeel Hussain, aged 29, of Pembroke Croft, Birmingham, was arrested at the scene and charged with her murder the next day.
The coroner for Worcestershire opened and adjourned Miss Wright's inquest awaiting reports.
