AS part of the Big Brownie Birthday, celebrating 100 years of the organisation for youngsters, members from 2nd Studley (St. Mary's) Brownies blasted off into space with 150 other girls from across the county on a sleepover at the Space Centre Leicestershire.
]Four events like this are taking place on weekends to enable 600 girls to sleep under the stars and experience space.
Brownies made flying rockets, presented a TV weather report, viewed the night sky up close and took a 3D trip into space.
Group leader Caroline Ford said: "Today's Brownies expand their horizons and there are no limits to girls achieving their full potential within Girlguiding."
