THE situation involving a man threatening to harm himself on a bridge in Woodrow yesterday has been peacelly resolved.
The man went on to the bridge, which is near Kingsley College and the Alexandra Hospital just before 11am yesterday morning, and after 10 hours, the situation was resolved.
Police arrested the man and took him into custody.
West Mercia Police went on Twitter last night to say: "Huge thanks to local people for their understanding."
The road underneath the bridge had to be closed during the incident.
