A MAN is to stand trial charged with robbing a lorry carrying cash at a service station on the M42.
37-year-old Leon Brown, of Wellersley Gardens, Birmingham, denies robbery on August 15 last year at Hopwood Service Station, near junction two of the M42 for Alvechurch.
Three other men have all previously pleaded guilty to robbery and will be sentenced after the trial, which is due to start on April 14 at Worcester Crown Court.
All four denied kidnapping the lorry driver, Ian Dewsbury, and the prosecution decided not to proceed with this charge.
