The story of God’s Wonderful Railway will be the theme for the January meeting of the Redditch Railway Interest Group on Friday, January 10 at 2pm at Forge Mill & Bordesley Abbey visitor's centre.
Avril and Christopher Rowlands will be illustrating the production of the historic BBC children’s TV drama series, which was based on the Severn Valley Railway.
From May 4-11, the society’s 15th annual railway holiday week will be held in Derbyshire. Accommodation will be provided in the historic Willersley Castle Hotel at Cromford in the Derwent Valley and visits will be taken to railway, tramway and other historic sites in the area.
Information will be available for anyone interested in considering the possibility of joining the party , which is open to non-members also.
