BRIGHT Kids children at Crabbs Cross recently entered the Young Writers; My Nursery Rhymes Creative Writing Competition.
Children were asked to write down what their favourite things were and to put this into a poem and they were very excited to find out that 13 of them were given the opportunity to have their poems published.
Manager Anita Shepherd said: “This is a great achievement and we are all very proud of their hard work. The activity encouraged children with their creativity, imagination and expression and will hopefully encourage confident participation in future creative writing activities.”
