THE 60s singing sensation Helen Shapiro has given Redditch Ramblers her blessing to use the title of her hit single “Walking back to Happiness” as the theme for the group’s new walks programme.
Covering the period May to August, this contains a wide range of Saturday and Sunday walks, from five to 10 miles in length across lovely countryside, catering for different walk abilities.
A spokesman said: “After a few walks the Redditch ramblers are confident you will want to join a warm, friendly and welcoming club, enabling you to meet new friends and walk safely in a group.”
