POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a car and jewellery were stolen during a burglary in Hollywood, near Redditch.
It happened between 8pm and 8.40pm on Saturday, January 5, at a home in Richmond Close.
Thieves entered the house and stole a set of car keys before taking a silver Mercedes Benz which was parked on the drive.
They also took a men’s Omega watch worth £1,500, a variety of gold and silver jewellery, an Acer laptop worth £400 and some cash.
The car was discovered moments later parked at the end of Richmond Close near the turning to Truemans Heath Lane.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Adam Pugh said: "We would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen the offenders either parking the car or walking away from it.
"If anyone is offered jewellery for sale that they feel may have been stolen we would ask them to call us immediately."
