REDDITCH-based sports clubs are being invited to the Redditch Sports Club Forum for the second meeting of the year, to get free expert advice and support.

The Redditch Sports Club Forums are an annual series of free forums organised by Redditch Council’s Sports Development team. They provide a vital platform for local sports clubs to discuss their needs and identify areas where they may require support, such as funding and marketing.

The last meeting of this year’s Redditch Sports Club Forum took place on July 31 at Redditch Town Hall. It was an informal meeting used by the council’s Sports Development team to help identify the needs of individual clubs and develop ways to work in partnership to support them.

Councillor Luke Stephens, whose portfolio covers leisure, said: “It was really great to see sports groups getting behind the forum in July and we hope this will continue so we can make a sustainable difference to sporting in the borough.”

The next meeting of this year’s Redditch Sports Club Forum takes place on Tuesday, December 11 at Redditch Town Hall from 6.30pm.
