GRAY John Griffiths Aged 86 years. Passed away peacefully on Saturday 7th January 2017 at Torbay Hospital, Torquay. John will be sadly missed by his family and friends and especially many of the dog walkers at Morton Stanley Park. A service to celebrate John’s life will take place at The Abbey Chapel, Redditch Crematorium on Friday 27th January 2017 at 10.15 a.m, followed by committal at the Abbey Cemetery. As the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue Centre was very dear to John, donations would be greatly received and can be sent to The Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue www.lurcher.org.uk Tel no: 01386 853971. What a shock to see this on a post down Morton Stanley Park. What a truly lovely gentleman. Will be missed by hundreds of dogs and owners as he always had time to stop and chat and feed the endless stream of dogs that when they saw John would run halfway across the park for a fuss and a treat. For ever in our thoughts Alison and Murphy the Lurcher.
