POLICE have arrested youths following growing reports of underage drinking within Stourport town centre over the last few weeks.
Youngsters between 14 and 17 have been reportedly acting anti-socially and committing criminal offences due to their intoxication.
One incident involved a large group of youths, who were seen drinking alcohol and fighting in the Riverside Meadows park at around 8pm on Tuesday, August 13.
Youths involved were arrested and dealt with robustly by police.
PC Cathy Atkinson said: "This type of behaviour will not be tolerated and SNT will continue to deal with this matter.
"If you are aware of your child in the area at the time please advise them about the risks and dangers of drinking alcohol to prevent similar incidents in future."
