REDDITCH'S first Japanese restaurant has opened on Alcester Street.
With a helping hand from property agents John Truslove, Edo Japan, has taken a 20 year lease at The Quadrant.
Dongehun Wang, director of Zensho Ltd, who run Edo Japan said: “We are delighted with the reception we have received from our customers and very pleased with the support from Ben Truslove and the team at John Truslove who helped us at every stage of the way towards opening our new restaurant.”
Ben Truslove, joint managing director of John Truslove, said: “It’s always a pleasure to help a new business get off the ground and in particular to bring a new cuisine to Redditch. We wish Dongehun and his team all the best in their new enterprise.”

John Truslove acted for landlords Real Estate Investors plc (REI), who are Birmingham based.
Jack Sears, asset manager at REI, said: “We are always pleased to be able to support start-up businesses and delighted they have opened Redditch’s first Japanese restaurant in one or our properties.
