REDDITCH United settled for a 2-2 draw in an end-to-end Southern League Premier Division Central game against Royston Town.
Kian Harness opened the scoring before Robbie Bunn equalised last Saturday at the Valley Stadium.
Alex Cameron then put the Reds ahead but an own goal earned the visitors a point.
Mike Fowler named an unchanged line-up from the 1-0 victory over Stratford Town last week with Leo Cook and Jimmy Richardson both making the bench.
Royston opened the scoring in the third minute when a corner was recycled back to the taker. He had time to float the cross back in and Harness jumped highest to nod in past Tyrese Warmington.
Joel Shambrook whipped in a great cross from the right but Cameron’s headed effort was just over.
Redditch then conceded a penalty in the 12th minute after Reece Flanagan clipped Josh Boorne.
Harness stepped up but Warmington saved low to his right.
The Birmingham City loanee then set the Reds on a counter-attack, throwing the ball forward to Shambrook who launched the ball over the top of the defence.
It was cleared slightly by goalkeeper Jamie Head. Bunn leapt onto the loose ball and lobbed first-time over the stranded keeper to equalise in a crazy turn of events.
The last chance of the half came to Shambrook who hit an effort over from 30 yards.
Four minutes after the restart the visitors had the ball in the back of the net but the referee blew for a foul.
Bunn found some space in midfield before rocketing an effort off the post from outside the area.
The midfielder was involved again as he played a through-ball to Cameron who drove towards goal and slotted past Head into the bottom corner to put Redditch ahead.
Ten minutes later the game turned on its head again as a Royston cross from the right was deflected off Danny King into the back of the net.
Late on Warmington produced a good save from eight yards out from a free header before Cameron had a driven effort saved down the other end of the field watched by 591 fans.
Redditch visit Leiston in the league on Saturday (3pm) before hosting Bromsgrove Sporting on Monday (3pm).
The Reds have been drawn at home to Skegness Town or Lincoln United in the Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round on Saturday, August 30.
