REDDITCH United have retained four more players under new boss Tim Flowers ahead of the 2024-25 Southern League campaign.

Keeper Adam Harrison, midfielder Aram Soleman and forward Alex Cameron have all joined Johnny Johnston in agreeing terms for another season at the Valley Stadium.

And left-footed defender Jordan Cranston has agreed to sign permanently after a successful loan from Hereford last season.

Cameron, 23, netted 15 in the 2023-24 Premier Division Central and Flowers said: "He’s a proven goalscorer at this level and above. He’s a massive part of the squad given his importance around the dressing room.

"He’s got a good voice, is strong, solid, powerful and will certainly be a focal point of our strikeforce this season. Clearly, with JJ (Johnston) re-signing as well those two ended the season as a real threat together."

Soleman, 24, becomes United's longest-serving current player as he enters his fourth season having scored six league goals in 2023-24.

Flowers said: “I’ve known Aram for a long time. He’s strong, combative, physical and just a really nice lad. He’s got a goal in him alongside his technical ability."

On Cranston, 30, joining, Flowers said: "He was one of the first names on the list with his experience of playing at such a high level — EFL, National League and National League North.

"With his experience comes the leadership, not to note his ability and versatility to boot. He’ll be incredibly important in the dressing room for all of the lads.”

Flowers added on Harrison: "I’m delighted to secure the goalkeeper who kept 19 clean sheets in 51 appearances which is a strong average.”

Redditch's first pre-season friendly will be at home to Lye Town on Monday, July 8.

They also host Studley on Friday, July 19, Walsall Wood on Saturday, July 27 and Swindon Supermarine on Saturday, August 3.

Away friendlies are at Malvern Town on Saturday, July 13, Evesham United on Tuesday, July 23 and Stourport Swifts on Tuesday, July 30.

Meanwhile, league neighbours Alvechurch have swooped for experienced centre-half Krystian Pearce, 34, after he left Kidderminster Harriers.

The ex-Mansfield Town and Hereford man joins fellow defender David Solademi who has left Bromsgrove Sporting for Lye Meadow.

Midfielders Joe Willis and Sam Perry have also signed from Stafford Rangers and Macclesfield respectively.

Full-back Ammar Dyer and forwards Dylan Hadley and Daniele Reka have re-signed for next season.
