WORCESTER Warriors' winger Perry Humphreys has signed a contract extension at the club to continue his stay at Sixways.

Humphreys, 27, arrived at Sixways from Leicester Tigers in 2014 and joined Warriors’ 100 Club when he reached a century of appearances against Sale Sharks in February.

He has scored 26 tries in 110 appearances for Warriors his latest in the Premiership Rugby Cup final against London Irish at the Brentford Community Stadium four weeks ago.

“I am delighted to sign a new contract. I’m really enjoying my rugby and I have had some decent game time this season and winning some silverware tops it off,” Humphreys said.

“I played in the British & Irish Cup final at Doncaster in my first season here and so it’s nice to have helped the club to win another trophy.

“Hopefully we can use the Premiership Cup as a platform to build on next season.

"Since Steve Diamond has come in he’s stripped things back to basics and I’m sure he will do that in our pre-season training. He’s very straight, very direct and he says it as it is.”
