Redditch Swimming Club put on a sterling performance to come top of the medals table at Worcester County Championships 2022.
This year’s event took place over five days at Perdiswell Leisure Centre (Worcester) and Wolverhampton Central Baths.
A total of 50 swimmers from Redditch competed in 36 events across six age group categories.
Head Coach, Jon Fletcher, was absolutely delighted with the performance of all involved.
He said:” In over 4 out of every 5 swims the athletes achieved personal best performances. It shows the dedication and commitment these youngsters show week after week. I’m so proud of their performances”.
John did not single out any individual swimmers for praise, telling the Advertiser that there would be too many to mention and that one of his goals as a coach was to “develop the spirit of the team”.
