Studley continued their pusuit of the League title with an empatic and clinical victory over Victoria on a difficult pitch on Saturday.
Studley started on the front foot and almost took the lead on 3 minutes with Westwood shooting just past the post.
Studley were dominating the ball and Clatworthy in the Vics goal was forced to make two good saves in quick succession .
However the goal what always looked likely arrived on 34 mins when Dale Edwards found the net from some 16 yards out.
The second goal came a minute later when Keeper Bunn hit a long clearance found Westwood who beat his man and crossed to Dan Carter who hit a sweet volley from 20 yards.
Danny Carter scored his second and Studley’S third on 38 mins after good work and cross by Brain with Cater rising highest to head home,The Vics who had struggled to get in the game did not get their first corner until the 42nd min and the half ended 3 v 0 to Studley.
The Vics made some slight changes at half time but never really troubled a solid Studley defence well marshalled by Welsh and Birch.
The fourth and final goal and Danny Carter’s hat trick which was a scrappy goal ,was scored in the 55th minute.
The rest of the half was a bit more of a contest but Studley never looked in danger of conceding and with results elsewhere going in their favour Studley Returned to the top of the table.
