Goals from Dan Carter and Jack Cresswell were enough to beat a good Clanfield side.
This was a game between fourth and fifth in the League .
The game kicked of in awful weather and Studley were qujckest out the blocks and took the lead on 5 minutes with a cheeky back heel flick from captain Dan Carter fooled the Clanfield keeper.
As the half wore om Clanfield were struggling to get a foothold in the game and Studley had a couple of chances to increase their lead. However on 38 minutes Jack Cresswell hit a stunner from some 25 yards which swerved in the air giving the keeper no chance.
So 2 v 0 at half time.In the second half Clanfield gradually got on top and were forcing Studley back into their on half , but were not troubling Bunn in the Studley goal.Studley although always looked dangerous going forward but were unable to create any clear cut chances and the game became a scrappy affair and Studley finished 2 v 0 winners moving them up to third in the table with games in hand over those above them.
Next Game Bourton Rovers away on Saturday December 18.
