In the FA Vase first qualifying round Studley were quick out of the blocks scoring after three mins when Dean Fisher picked himself up after being fouled in the box to score from the penalty spot.
Studley were dominating the game and missed several good opportunities to increase the lead until the 25th min when Tom Fishwick scored with a header from a corner. The half continued in the same vein but the score remained 2-0 at half time.
Paget came out in the second half with a much more improved performance and pressed Studley to try to get back in the game.
Studley were reduced to trying to catch Paget on the break but the Studley defence held out to progress to the next round where they will meet Stafford Town at Stafford. Next game on Saturday away at Abington Utd ko 3pm.
