ANOTHER game, another defeat, it's not been a good season at all so far for Worcester Warriors.

The encouraging signs in the defeats to Sale and Exeter have been followed with disappointing performances to Leicester and Wasps on Sunday.

Individually players aren't necessarily having poor games so it makes player ratings rather difficult but let's have a go:

15. Chris Pennell - 6

Made the second most metres of any player on the pitch (3 metres behind Tom Willis) and was solid under the high ball.

14. Perry Humphreys - 4.5

Was kept quiet and didn't see much ball, missed four of five tackles and two turnovers against him. Subbed for an HIA at half-time and didn't return.

13. Francois Venter - 5.5

Carried a fair bit and worked hard without making many yards but was defensively sound without missing a tackle. Both centres struggled to create.

12. Ashley Beck - 5.5

Again carried a lot for little gain but made all but one of his tackles. Not much of a threat.

11. Nick David - 7

Consistently becoming one of Worcester's stand out performers, made the try for himself out of nothing with his kick and sharp thinking (with the help of Heaney) and generally looks for work as much as possible. Difficult man to stop whilst also doing his defensive duties well.

10. Jamie Shillcock - 6.5

Decent performance given it's been a long time since a Premiership start at fly-half. Kicked a bit too much in the first-half but improved in the second and brings more of an attacking threat.

9. Gareth Simpson - 6

Doesn't look out of place at this level and distributed well but wasn't as dangerous around the fringes as he would have hoped.

1. Ethan Waller - 7

Another decent day at scrum time and defensively made his tackles.

2. Isaac Miller - 7

Made a lot of tackles with 12 and the lineout went smoothly enough.

3. Nick Schonert - 7

Was good at scrum time and his tackling is always aggressive, knocking players back.

4. Graham Kitchener - 6

Lineout functioned better than it has done recently and he won all of his. Attacking driving maul remains a slight issue, however.

5. Justin Clegg - 6

Another youngster who looks right at home in senior rugby. Made 14 tackles and worked hard, lineout went well even if the maul didn't always.

6. Ted Hill - 6

Worcester's go to ball carrier and got front foot ball but was defended relatively well by Wasps and kept at bay.

7. Matt Kvesic - 6

Made the most tackles on the Worcester side but still struggling to impact the breakdown.

8. Cornell du Preez - 6.5

Didn't miss a tackle and was far more aggressive as a ball carrier, much improved.

Replacements:

16. Beck cutting - 6

17. Marc Thomas - 6.5

18. Richard Palframan - 6.5

19. Andrew Kitchener - 6

20. GJ van Velze - not used
