WORCESTER Warriors' Ted Hill has been released from the England camp ahead of this weekend's opening Gallagher Premiership fixture with London Irish.

Centre Ollie Lawrence has been retained in the 25-man squad for the Autumn Nations Cup fixture with Ireland this Saturday.

The talented young centre made his first team debut for England last weekend, in their 40-0 win over Georgia in their first group game of the cup competition.

Eddie Jones will name his 23-man squad for the game on Thursday morning at 11am.

Alan Solomons spoke in a press conference in the last hour (Tuesday) and said that if players aren't named in the squads, they will be released to the clubs.

"The England setup communicate with us really well." he said.

"Richard Hill (England rugby manager) is fantastic, a really good communicator.

"Guys that dont make the 25 will get released and when they make that decision they will notify us and we will act accordingly."

It isn't yet confirmed that Hill will play on Saturday but it is highly likely the captain will feature for Worcester at home to London Irish on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
