WARRIORS fans delivered withering assessments of their side’s second-half collapse against Bristol.
Worcester shipped four tries after the interval to let slip the three-point lead they had built in a promising first half, losing 36-13.
Director of rugby Alan Solomons cited far too much turnover of play in the second half but insisted there had been “no question” over his side’s work rate.
MATCH COVERAGE AND REACTION: Warriors 13 Bristol 36
Fans stopped short of questioning that but, bar one, painted a gloomy picture based on what had panned out.
2 inches was the difference for us 3 times. 2 tries just in touch and Bristol punch connecting and not being seen. Add that to the last 2 Bristol tries coming from illegal breakdown activity by Bristol then I think we did ok. Score line flatters but Bristol probably edged the win

Poor overall performance. Can’t shy away from that.

Man for man our first 15 match that Bristol squad as the HT score line demonstrated.
Started making mistakes and didn’t take our chances when they were on offer.
Glimpses, but need to figure out what we’re about.
We need to decide what type of rugby we want to play. Work out what our strengths are and stick to them.

Tried to play heads up rugby, but didn’t have the handling or skill to execute.
Bris knew exactly what they wanted to do and executed it perfectly.
Lots for us to learn!
Our front row bench is weak. I hate being negative about the team but I’m afraid other than sharky and Ethan we have no depth in the props

We look a very good side in patches but really lacking consistency, Bristol played to a game plan and we didn’t! For all the hustle and bustle our forwards put in we really do struggle to break the line

And Bris were held up twice and were denied a try by a toenail once. The red card also came in the last 20 seconds of the game and would’ve made no difference at all. Barnes reffed very well, as always. Clutching at straws, the result was about bang on.

Without Saracens, we would be figuring out what we’re about back in the championship. I’m all for bringing on home grown talent but that 2nd half showed we just don’t have the depth in players, we have individuals and not a squad!

We need to sort the issue with the replacements out. Every game we seem to fall apart in the last 20 and not sure why.

A lot of players had huge games and put their hand up for the first team (regardless of what the commentator thinks).
Would like to see a strong team v bath
Poor. Score didn’t flatter Briz. We looked clueless in the back, lack of invention, poor predictable lines of attack. Coaches have a lot to answer for. Championship Rugby beckons if Solly stays

Not good enough.

9 losses in 10!!!!!
Is it a lack of funds?
Is it poor leadership from the top?
Are the players just not up to it?
Is the coaching poor?
God knows.
The fact is that 16 years (!) after we were first promoted to the Prem, we’re still a bottom 3 side.

Wrong DOR imo, need a fresh voice

We are nowhere near the cap
Carrying a lot of average players
We need 6/7 worldies to begin bridging the gap plus the great academy to keep feeding it.
In very simple terms, not good enough I’m afraid. On the 2nd half performance may struggle to win the championship in 2 years time

There is something major wrong with the club. We know Duckworth and the Allens put major funds into the team with the same result.
