HEREFORD'S chairman has said he wants the football club's board and the supporters' trust to work together in harmony.
It comes after Hereford United Supporters' Trust said they did not feel fully represented in a decision to close the academy next season.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the club cited social distancing measures and the expected ‘limited commercial sponsorship’ as two reasons for not running the academy or women's team for the 2020/21 season.
But the board hope to revive the teams in the future.

In response to a HUST's statement last week, the club's chairman Andrew Graham has invited HUST's chair to a virtual meeting between the two boards.
"It is important for the club that key stakeholders are engaged with, and, for the benefit of the club, we need to pull in the same direction," Graham said.
He added: "This was felt to be the most harmonious method to deal with the club / HUST relationship and I hope that a more united front for the supporters may be the result.”
The meeting between the groups could take place within the next two weeks.
