FORMER Worcester Warriors centre Ben Te’o has joined French giants Toulon on a short-term deal.
The England international has signed a contract that runs until November and will bolster Toulon's ranks during the Rugby World Cup.
Te’o is due to arrive at the Top 14 outfit tomorrow (Thursday) before having a medical on Friday.
Toulon who kick off the new season this weekend expect the 32-year-old to start training with them on Monday when he will join up with wing Bryce Heem who also left Warriors at the end of last season.
Te’o made 36 appearances during his three-year spell at Sixways.
The midfield powerhouse looked to hold off making a decision on his future until after the Rugby World Cup.
However Te’o who has won 18 England caps was not named in Eddie Jones’ 31-man squad for Japan after an alleged fracas with Harlequins’ Mike Brown at a team social in Treviso.
