WORCESTER and Old Elizabethans are level on 227 points after both recorded Worcestershire Cricket League Premier Division wins.

Mohammad Adeel (4-29) and Aditya Dhadwal (3-25) led Worcester to victory at Pershore which effectively ended the hosts' title bid.

Pershore were skittled for 102 with only Charlie Norton's 35 not out at number nine helping them past the century mark.

Worcester made hard work of their two-wicket win but got home on 103-8 with Mark Jones (21) top scoring and Matt Brace claiming 4-45.

OEs are just below Worcester in lower mid-table after Damon Gariff's 5-54 helped them relegate Evesham with a 64-run success.

They were bowled out for 206 with Raminda Arachchige scoring 71 and Kamran Abbasi taking 4-42.

But Evesham could only make 142 in reply thanks to Gariff with Muhammad Saqib hitting 71.

It looks like being a four-horse race for the title between leaders Stourbridge, Chaddesley Corbett after a big win over Stourport, Astwood Bank and Redditch.

Jack Knight-Adams (5-19) and Andrew Robertson (4-26) ensured Colwall maintained the Division One top spot with a nine-wicket victory over Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social.

Second-placed Bromyard remain just 18 points adrift after Zahid Saeed took 6-22 to bowl out visiting Cookley for a 104-run win.

Max Young (133no) helped give relegation-threatened Droitwich Spa back-to-back wins as they beat high-flying Hagley by 53 runs.

Worcester Nomads enjoyed a vital eight-wicket win at basement boys Bredon to stay above the drop zone, scoring 161-2 in reply to 160-9.

Nomads' Sam Roberts hit 55, David White 41no and Steve Emson claimed 4-34.

Ombersley seconds look uncatchable at the top of Division Two after an eight-wicket success at Halesowen seconds.

Ryan D'Oliveira (4-25) and James Hathaway (3-37) helped bowl out Halesowen for 118 before Ashley Damm carried his bat with 58no.

Old Vigornians came close to beating old rivals Martley but the villagers hung on for a losing draw in Division Three with nine wickets down.

OVs picked up 17 points and remain in a group of five teams separated by just 11 battling for the second promotion place.

Osman Fiaz led the way again for the fourth-placed Worcester side with 77 for his fourth half-century of the season to add to his two tons.

But after he was second out at 157 OVs were pegged back by the bowlers.

Henry Armstrong made 61 for his highest score for the club.

Max Richardson (32 not out) and Ali Robb (24) added 50 for the sixth wicket but OVs finished on 248-7 two runs short of a fourth batting point.

Mark Johnson, James Ganderton and Alec Francis took two wickets each.

Martley skipper Ganderton was the mainstay of their innings.

He scored 68 and Jim Basford 25 but from 69-1 they collapsed to 150-9 with eight overs remaining.

Ollie Dunks (26no) and Pete Gardner (4no) batted out the last 50 balls to secure the draw.

Avoncroft held on with 149-9 after Josh Caund hit 52 and three wickets each for Kevin Gwynne and Ryan Biggerstaff.
