STUDLEY have hastily arranged a friendly fixture with Central Ajax this week after their proposed Total Motion Midland League Division One contest with title hopefuls Atherstone Town was called off owing to a frozen Beehive pitch.
The game will take place tonight (Tuesday January 5) and manager John Edwards confirmed: "We had to try and fix up something quickly.
"We originally arranged a friendly with West Midland League leaders Tividale, but they have since cried off.
"But since agreeing to play Ajax, we've had a number of clubs contact us in the hope of playing a friendly including Westfields and Bromyard Town."
There should no problems with this Saturday's clash against Chelmsley Town as they play on Sutton Coldfield Town's 4G pitch at Coles Lane.
