STUDLEY shook off their dismay of missing out on a place in this season's Worcestershire Senior Urn final by bouncing back to reel off a 5-2 success at Rocester in Total Motion Midland League Division One.

Sean Brain continued his sensational scoring spree by netting a hat-trick to take his tally of goals to 15 in eight league games since his recent arrival from Evesham United.

Further goals from former Stourbridge product Brandon Hague and Steven Roche secured victory as Studley climb to fifth place.

Victory provided some consolation after Studley lost out 8-7 following a penalty shoot-out in the Urn with Premier Division side Highgate United after the scores finished level at 2-2.

Matt Edwards and Shay Palmer were on target for Studley to cancel out goals from Highgate's Marco Adaggio and Lei Brown who was later sent off.

Highgate will now face either Bromsgrove Sporting or Worcester City in the final .

Studley look to continue their impressive league form of late when they entertain seventh placed NKF Burbage at the Beehive on Saturday.
