WORCESTER Raiders won their ninth West Midlands League Division One game in a row.

The third-placed city side defeated Team Dudley 3-1 at Claines Lane with a double from Roland Krol and an Anthony Smith goal.

Raiders fell behind against the run of play but Smith levelled before half-time.

Krol's brace secured the points for Worcester who have no league game this weekend.

Droitwich Spa edged out Allscott 1-0 at Stourport's Walshes Meadow to return to the top spot.

Spa's third straight victory in all competitions was courtesy of a late James Lemon strike.

Droitwich edged the possession but found a stubborn back-line hard to break down.

A strong wind played its part in the first half with visiting keeper Dan Pilkington having to deal with plenty of crosses.

Lemon was denied at the far post and an effort from the edge of the box by Jack Allerton went narrowly over.

Allscott winger Ryan McLean was put through but keeper Matt Oliver saved well.

Ben Tilbury put the Saltmen's best chance of the game wide.

Droitwich had the better of the second half and Lemon's close-range header cannoned back off the post.

With Spa turning the screw Lemon picked the ball up on the edge of the area, cut inside and fired a wicked shot that cannoned in off the inside of the post in the 83rd minute.

Bromyard Town crashed 4-1 at home to Bustleholme.

Malvern Town sent Premier Division hosts Pegasus Juniors to the bottom of the table with a 7-0 thrashing.

Sixth-placed Town went ahead in the 13th minute when Matt Fusco whipped the ball in for Joshua Hunt to open the scoring.

They doubled their advantage just before the break when a Steve Webb cross picked out Harry Clark who planted his header home.

Aaron Griffiths scored on 50 minutes when he drove home a sweet strike.

Two minutes later Hunt extended the lead.

Malvern added a third goal in five minutes when Louis Loader carved out an opening for Hunt who claimed his hat-trick.

It was 6-0 shortly afterwards when Hunt bundled home at the second attempt from close range.

The scoring was complete late on when Jamie Sauntson’s pile-driver was blocked by the keeper and Hunt gobbled up the rebound for his fifth goal.

Pershore Town moved off the foot of the table with a 4-2 home win over Shawbury United.
