RAMPANT Redditch Borough booked their place in the Worcester County Cup semi-finals following a convincing 5-2 success over local rivals Fairfield Villa.

Khurum Iqbal stole the show by netting four times after Jak Albutt had opened the scoring when heading home from an Alex Birch corner.

Delighted Borough boss Julian Workman said: "Khurum completed a perfect hat-trick by scoring with his left foot, then right foot plus a header."

Villa responded with goals from Pete Jenzy and Ryan Molesworth but it wasn't enough as Borough now face West Midland League Division One side Droitwich Spa in the semi-finals.

Borough return to Total Motion Midland League Division Two action this Saturday when they entertain Hampton FC at the Mettis for a 2pm kick off.

Borough Ladies shared a 3-3 draw with Walsall side Starland St Annes to stay third in the Birmingham County FA Premier Division.

Nicole Butler netted twice with Maddison Dunleavy also on target.

Borough Ladies play host to Wolverhampton based SJB this Sunday, 2pm start.
