UNCAPPED prop Nick Schonert has been released by England ahead of the second Test of the Quilter Internationals against New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday.

But Worcester Warriors centre Ben Te’o is among the 25 players to have been retained as Eddie Jones’ side continue their preparations.

Te’o played 73 minutes of England’s 12-11 victory over South Africa last weekend and now looks set to make his 15th appearance for his country.

Schonert who starred in Warriors’ 31-12 Premiership Cup victory over Leicester Tigers last Saturday was named in the 35-strong training squad but has now been released back to Warriors.
