REDDITCH Borough pulled off a prized 1-0 win over top of the table Boldmere Sports and Social Falcons to progress in the season's Les James Cup.
Billy Garvey grabbed the only goal from the penalty spot after Callum Hall had seen his goal-bound shot handled on the line by a Boldmere defender who was duly dismissed for the offence.
Borough boss Julian Workman said: "We could have won by six, seven or even eight goals if I'm honest.
"Both Jack Albutt and Khurum Iqbal hit Boldmere's woodwork before we'd even scored."
Borough turn their attentions to the Presidents Cup this Saturday when they host Hampton at The Mettis.
