TOP of the table Alvechurch and Hopwood suffered a shock four wicket reverse at Harborne thirds in Worcester County League Division Three.
Despite the efforts of Dan Wolstencroft, Alvechurch failed to put enough runs on the board when they were removed for 146 all out in the 39th over.
John Pinsett plundered 43 while Rob Leach supplied a further 35 but it wasn't enough as Harborne responded with a winning total of 147 for six.
Wolstencroft caused havoc with the ball to bag figures of five for 29 from his 10 over spell.
But the one wicket he couldn't prise out was that of Jamie Hall who hit a match winning 67 not out for Harborne.
Alvechurch attempt an immediate return to winning ways when they host Martley this Saturday.
