THERE is going to be plenty of muddy fun and motorsport action when Redditch Motorcycle Club hold their annual Terry Cup Christmas Pudding Trial on December 6.
This year’s event, which is the penultimate round of the Midland Centre Championship, has attracted an entry of over 100 riders from all parts of the country.
Steve Harris, from Churchill, riding his Spanish Sherco motorcycle, will be hoping for a win in the pro-elite class, but he has some tough opposition from team-mate Ben Sprigg, from Rowney Green, and last year’s winner, Redditch rider Ross Danby, who is making his debut on the brand new TRS motorcycle.
In the clubman class, Ian Cook, from Crabbs Cross, on the factory 260 Montesa, will be hoping for a good ride to increase his points in the Championship.
The event starts at SE Davis’s Yard, Astwood Bank, and the first rider is away at 9.30am.
The action will see ten groups compete over a course of 23 miles, including Jones’s Bank at Ham Green, which should have some testing hazards for the riders to negotiate.
Spectators are most welcome and entry is free.
