JOE Lolley says he’s living the dream after the young hitman signed his first professional contract with Skrill Premier promotion-chasers Kidderminster Harriers.

The former Kingsley College student put pen to paper on a one-year deal after impressing Aggborough boss Steve Burr during pre-season.

The 20-year-old still has two years of a sports coaching course at University of Central Lancashire left to study but is still keen to try and continue his education on a part-time basis.

It’s a huge step up for Lolley, who has been prolific for Littleton in the sixth tier of the non-league football pyramid.

“My friends have said some of the grounds like Luton hold huge crowds but Aggborough is a lovely place to play as well,” said Lolley, who grew up in Redditch.

“I can’t wait to play in front of big crowds, it’s all new but it is quite exciting.

“I remember being 12 or 13 when I was at Birmingham City and my mum asked me what level of football would be a success and I said Football Conference.

“It’s not happened as I thought it would but it has happened so it’s a dream really.”
