IN LAST week’s Redditch Advertiser, Ukip candidate Peter Jewell claimed that the recent surge in membership to the Green Party was due to us offering membership at no cost. As much as we would like to offer this, it simply isn’t true.
We are enjoying the #greensurge and would encourage people to see for themselves.

People are joining the Green Party because we stand for the common good, on many issues, not just environmental.
We want a fairer society, that reduces the pay gap between those at the top and those at the bottom.
We believe health and education should be free for everyone, keeping the NHS in public hands.
We’ve received great support for our proposal that railways should be brought back into public ownership and we are clearly setting out a path that can tackle climate change while creating much needed jobs.
Vote Green in 2015.
