I was saddened to learn of the passing of Joan Tyers,a Quaker Christian of integrity, an ex councillor of considerable merit. Joan worked hard and long hours on behalf of her community. Although on opposite sides of the political spectrum, we were colleagues, working for our community. She was a pleasure to work with.
May the Lord rest her soul!
