A MAN has denied sexual assault and meeting a child following sexual grooming.
Arron Bird of The Glade, Malvern denied both offences, alleged to have taken place against two complainants, when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty to meeting a child following sexual grooming between December 1, 2017 and May 3, 2018 and a sexual assault (sexual touching) against a different complainant between July 6 and July 9, 2018.
The case was prosecuted by Antonie Muller, Bird was represented by Nicola Hunter and the judge hearing the case was Recorder Christopher Millington QC.
The trial date was fixed for June 7 next year and is expected to last four days.
The defendant's single condition of bail is not to have any contact, directly or indirectly, with both alleged victims.
