DINERS across the city will be able to enjoy half-price meals throughout August as part of a government scheme to boost trade in restaurants and pubs.

'Eat Out to Help Out' entitles diners to receive up to fifty per cent off food and non-alcoholic drinks - up to a maximum of £10 per person - on Monday to Wednesdays throughout August.

The discount does not apply to alcohol.

You do not need a voucher to take part in the scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts and there is no minimum spend.

The discount will be automatically available to you at the pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes that are taking part.
